Thank you for choosing Placements.lk for your recruitment and job search needs. We are committed to providing a seamless platform for both employers and candidates. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully, as it outlines the terms related to service cancellations and refunds.

Service Cancellations & Refunds - Employers

Job Posting Services

  • Once a job advertisement is published on Placements.lk, no refunds will be issued.
  • If you wish to cancel a job posting before it is published, you may request a cancellation within 24 hours of payment, and a full refund will be processed.
  • If an error occurs on our part (e.g., wrong listing, technical issues), we will either correct the issue immediately or offer a full refund, depending on the circumstances.

Subscription Packages & Employer Services

  • Subscription plans are non-refundable once the service term has started.
  • For any auto-renewal billing disputes, requests must be made at least 7 days before the renewal date.
  • Customized recruitment services, such as candidate shortlisting or employer branding services, are non-refundable once work has commenced.

Service Cancellations & Refunds - Candidates

  • Candidate registration, profile creation, and job applications on Placements.lk are completely free of charge.
  • If you have paid for any premium candidate services, you can cancel the service within 24 hours of payment for a full refund, provided the service work has not yet begun.
  • No refunds will be given for services that have already been delivered.

Non-Refundable Items/Services

The following services are nonrefundable:

  • Published job advertisements
  • Subscription packages already in active term
  • Customized services where work has commenced
  • Premium services for candidates already fulfilled
  • Any third-party services facilitated through Placements.lk

Service Errors or Deficiencies

In the rare event that you face issues such as:

  • Job postings not appearing correctly
  • Technical glitches affecting service delivery

Please contact our support team immediately. We will prioritize resolving the issue. If the problem cannot be rectified, a refund or service credit will be provided as per our discretion.

Processing Time

All eligible refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that depending on your bank or payment gateway, it may take additional time for the funds to reflect in your account.
