DMS Software Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is searching for experienced candidates for the position of application support engineer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities

• Engage on projects as a process/business & technical subject matter expert where needed
• Perform code installations working with development and Quality Control to monitor and validate successful implementation or fallback
• Responsible for assisting in the support of custom-built software applications, implementing packaged applications, monitoring critical logs, and working directly with users to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding custom applications and systems issues
• Incident management – Act as L1/L2 point of contact within a support structure for analysis and resolution of incidents reported
• Problem management – Identify and remediate root cause of complex issues affecting operational aspect of the software applications
• Assist in identifying and evaluating relevant technology solutions to solve business problems, exploit opportunities and drive forward continuous improvements assuring the realization of business benefits

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Basic understanding of Windows Server platform and including file systems and permissions
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Technology, Web Application Servers (I.E IIS)
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server with the ability to write and analyze complex queries
• Experience implementing and supporting applications in financial services industry a plus
• Flexible, autonomous, and well-organized
• Exceptional communication skills in both, verbal and written in English
