
Join Dogs of Ella as our HR & Team Coordinator. You will support our local staff and international volunteers, organize daily schedules, and act as the bridge between the team and management. This is a unique opportunity to combine HR tasks with meaningful social impact in animal welfare.
Dogs of Ella is a registered nonprofit animal welfare NGO located in Kumbalwela, near Ella. We provide a safe and healthy environment for rescued street dogs while building sustainable local and international partnerships.
We are now looking for a dedicated HR & Team Coordinator to strengthen our team structures and support our growing organization.
Your responsibilities will include:

Organizing daily team schedules and workloads.

Supporting staff and volunteers through motivation, regular check-ins, and onboarding.

Acting as a contact person and translator between team and management to ensure smooth communication.

Keeping basic HR records (attendance, agreements, leave days).

Mediating conflicts and encouraging respectful, solution-focused teamwork.

Joining weekly review calls with management and preparing monthly reports.
